Hyperspace Illustrations

I’ve been getting into a lot of scifi shows recently so I decided to read a bit more into the science of it by reading Michio Kaku’s book Hyperspace: A Scientific Odyssey Through Parallel Universes, Time Warps and the Tenth Dimension. While reading it, I got some inspiration to do pieces loosely based off of concepts in his book.

Strong Nuclear Force

This illustration is painted in gouache and based off of his writings about how strong nuclear forces from the sun can be both used to sustain life on earth as well as take it away.

Parallel Universe

This one is more based off of the intro paragraph in the book where Michio Kaku compares our perception of the universe around us to how other animals, such as a carp, may as well.  Any outside forces other than what comes from our individual pond seem impossible because it isn’t within our individual universe.

Einstein's Lion

This one is actually off of an Albert Einstein quote:
“Nature shows us only the tail of the lion.  But I do not doubt that the lion belongs to it even though he cannot at once reveal himself because of his enormous size” - Albert Einstein
